A two-year exposé by three journalists from Britain, Norway and Pakistan reveals for the first time the close-knit network of looters, smugglers, dealers, collectors and academics, which encourages the plunder of ancient artifacts from the war-torn regions of Iraq, Afghanistan and neighbouring Pakistan.

Particularly the revelations of the industrial scale plunder of the magic bowls from Mesopotamia and the lies surrounding the so-called "Death sea scrolls of Buddhism", has led to investigations and inquiries in Afghanistan, Norway and Britain. And one of the world’s largest collectors has - after the documentary was transmitted - been forced to deliver some of the loot back to the countries of origin.
