Six months after the terrorist paralyzed Norway, we meet again four people who got their life changed 22 July and who bravely shared their experiences in the documentary "Terror Island".
It has been a difficult fall for them all, but 2012 is the year when they have to get their life back on track. It is also the year in which the terrorist must be made accountable for his actions in the most important legal settlement in Norway since World War II.
The documentary follows the young people in their new daily life and we experience how their lives have changed course. We follow the preparations for the trial and we will see the victims when they have to undergo the hell from 22 July and watch the terrorist again.
It features a look on how a peaceful nation deals with a legal settlement with a world-renowned mass murderer. Can love once again be enough to overcome the hatred? And will the trial help the young people to move on with their lives?
In the documentary we will meet:
Line: Summer temp in The Labour party who lost her beloved colleague and friend. Dreamed of becoming Prime Minister and loved the government quarter, but has decided to realize her life instead. She will now study in the United States and has ordered a round trip to India.
Eskil: The young politician who looked forward to his first camp as a leader at Utøya. He was one of the central figures in the grieving process, but has since the terror attack received much criticism for the way he left the island. Hatred and death threats have been difficult to live with, but at the same time Eskil must be strong throughout the most important year in AUF`s history.
Woria: The boy from Hamar who stayed with his terrified friend despite the fact that the shots came closer and closer. Was sure he was going to die, but survived by a miracle. The friend unfortunately died and that experience has not yet let go, and he still struggles to function normally. He sleeps during the day and watch TV at night. He has no work nor goes to school.
Emma: The girl from southern Norway who wanted to change the world with her infectious humor and enthusiasm. She dreamed of becoming a police and worked as an intern at Søgne sheriff's office. She still does, but the dream of becoming a police is gone, as well as for her other dreams and the characteristic charisma.
