Mano and his friend Sharan are smuggled into Norway in the hopes of starting a new and peaceful life in Oslo. Dreams rarely come true, as the two friends find to their cost when they come up against the seamy side of Norwegian society. AVAILABLE FOR ONLINE SCREENING EP 1 & 2

Two young Kurds, Mano and Sharan ('Little Brother'), have long dreamed of a new life and a bright future in a peaceful land. They live in northern Iraq, where they have no prospects, the militia makes life uncertain and there is no hope of work or schooling.

Mano is a man of action, enterprising and scrupulous, while Sharan is a dreamer who has always been used to being looked after.

A dramatic occurrence turns their lives upside-down, and Mano determines to leave the country. Sharan decides to go with him, and the two pay a gang of smugglers with gold jewellery to get them to Norway.

Full of hope and visions of a new life, they eventually find themselves on Norwegian soil, but soon discover that life in Norway is not at all what they had thought it would be. They are made to carry out a robbery to pay for the last leg of their journey, but, with no experience of criminal activities, everything goes wrong.

Dreams rarely come true, as the two friends find to their cost when they come up against the seamy side of Norwegian society.

Brothers is the story of two friends, as close as brothers, one of whom chooses to sacrifice his life in order that the other may have a worthwhile future. It is about the extremes to which a person can be driven in an endeavour to do what is best for another.
