Original title: Martine

Imagine the despair of losing one of your children ahead of time. Then imagine your child being murdered, and that the murderer got away...

Norwegian student Martine Vik Magnussen is raped and killed in a London apartment. The next morning, the last person seen with Martine, Farouk Abdulhak, leaves London in a hurry. Abdulhak, son of a wealthy and powerful Yemen businessman, is still at large, presumably in his home country.

This is the story of a family’s loss, their struggle for justice, and a dilemma of ethics and morale against international law and diplomatic relations. Martine’s family tells their story for the first time and the filmmakers travel to Yemen to find the only murder suspect.
