In March 2008 two kids were brutally murdered in there home in Arboga in Sweden. They were only one and three years old. The children’s mother was also seriously tortured but she survived.

”I remember a woman in my hallway, that’s were she stood” says Emma Jangestig as she shows us how her children’s murder came into the house that fatal day.

For Nicklas Jangestig, the children’s father, March 17th started as a completely normal day. Nicklas had left the kids at his ex-wife Emma and went to the store. When he was told that something serious had happen they never told him what had happened just that his kids and Emma were at the hospital. During the first 24-hours after the killings he was the main suspect for the murders on his own kids.

While the police used all their time on convicting Nicklas valuable evidence was lost. This documentary investigates the polices mistakes in the Arboga case.

In the trail that followed the German Christine Schürrer, who earlier had a relationship with Emma’s boyfriend, was sentenced guilty!
